John Mellencamp's two teenage sons and a third individual were charged with felony battery in Bloomington, Indiana after allegedly beating up a 19-year-old man sitting on his front porch, TMZ reports.

Law enforcement said Speck, 18, and Hud, 19, along with Ty Smith, son of Indiana University baseball coach Tracy Smith, punched and kicked the man until his roomattes came up to stop the fight.

The victim was taken to the hospital with lacerations and facial fractures, the report says.

The Herald Times reports that the Mellencamps said the fight stemmed from an altercation earlier in the evening, and that the Mellencamps would be turning into themselves in to police.
