Corona Extra bottles recalled amid discovery of glass particles in beer
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Bottles of Corona Extra are being recalled across the country following the discovery of small particles of glass inside the beer.
Constellation Bands, which imports the Mexican beer, says 1% of certain bottles manufactured by a third party have been found with glass pieces in the beverage.
The recall specifically covers 12-ounce clear bottles in select six-, 12- and 18-packs.
It doesn't include Corona Light bottles, Corona Familiar, Coronitas or Corona Extra in cans, 24-packs, loose bottles or 24 oz. bottles.
