Academy Award-winning actress Charlize Theron has adopted an African-American girl, TMZ reported.
The newborn, whose name is August, is Theron’s second child. She adopted a son, Jackson, from South Africa in 2012, the site reports.
August was born in the United States.
Theron, 39, adopted August just over a month after calling off her engagement to actor Sean Penn, 54, US magazine reported. The couple broke up shortly after attending the Cannes Film Festival in the south of France.
