Electric cars are to be here to stay, but how far can they go? While conventional automobiles focus on MPG, the battery-powered crowd is all about miles per charge - call it MPC. At $29,125, the Mitsubishi i is the least expensive electric car you can buy, but with a range of just 62 miles you get what you pay for.
