Moisture from Tropical Storm Octave, which is still churning to the south of Baja California, is already streaming into the United States.
It would potentially enhance rainfall that already caused flooding Sunday in parts of Texas, AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Joseph McCormick said.
Octave is expected to make landfall as a tropical depression in the south-central Baja Peninsula early Wednesday afternoon PDT.
"The biggest concern [in the United States] is that moisture gets drawn up from Octave and over a front draped over Texas," McCormick said.
