The reward has been quadrupled in the New Jersey home invasion where a mother was recorded on a nanny camera beaten in front of her cowering 3-year-old daughter.

Public groups and private individuals are offering $20,000 for information leading to the arrest of the man who was shown punching and kicking the Millburn resident and throwing her down stairs while her 3-year-old daughter cowered on the couch last Friday.

Essex County Sheriff's Department spokesman Kevin Lynch tells The Star-Ledger of Newark the donors were outraged by the attack. Initially, the sheriff’s office offered a $5,000 reward.

The beating was severe. The video shows a man unloading punches to the woman’s face and kicking her. The New Jersey Star-Ledger reported that “he throws her like a rag doll down the basement stairs.”

The paper reported that through the three rounds of beating, the woman was quiet, screaming only once. She told police that she didn’t want to further traumatize her daughter and another young child slept upstairs.

Police say the woman suffered a concussion, bruises, chipped teeth and cuts around her mouth.

Police say the attacker made off with jewelry.
