San Francisco 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman and left tackle Joe Staley were named to the Pro Bowl on Tuesday night.
Bowman came back from a serious knee injury that forced him to miss the entire 2014 season to earn his third Pro Bowl selection. He also was named in 2012 and 2013.

The 27-year-old Bowman is tied with D'Qwell Jackson of the Indianapolis Colts for the league lead with 136 tackles despite the unexpected offseason retirements of fellow linebackers Patrick Willis and Chris Borland.
Staley is making his fifth consecutive trip to the Pro Bowl and has anchored the 49ers offensive line since being drafted by the team in the first-round (28th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft. In his ninth NFL season, Staley has started each of the team's 14 games this season and every game since 2011.
Staley continued to excel despite an offense that ranks last in the league in scoring. The nine-year tackle earned his fifth consecutive Pro Bowl nod and is on pace to appear in all 16 games for the fifth straight season.
