Indiana's Victor Oladipo has spent the last three years working to become a better basketball player.

They don't get much better than this.

The overlooked high school recruit has devoted countless hours in the gym to working on his shot, to become a defensive stopper, and now the effervescent son of Nigerian immigrants has emerged as one of the nation's top college players and a possible lottery pick in June's NBA draft.

For Oladipo, it's never been about becoming a superstar.

His goal all along was simply to help the Hoosiers (27-6) reclaim their spot on top of college basketball with their first national title since 1987.

Indiana's quest begins with a second-round game Friday in Dayton, Ohio, and Oladipo will play a big part in making it happen.
