Tommy Pereira scored a career-high 17 points off the bench, hitting five 3-pointers, as Rider defeated Saint Peter's 66-54 Thursday night in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action to win its fourth straight game.

The Broncs (10-9, 5-2), whose winning streak followed a five-game skid, trailed by nine at the 10:02 mark, but pulled ahead 28-27 on Pereira's 3-pointer en route to a 30-27 halftime lead.

The Peacocks regained a two-point advantage, but Shawn Valentine hit a 3-pointer and Pereira added two treys, making it 46-39. Saint Peter's (6-11, 1-6) could get no closer than four the rest of the way in dropping its fifth straight game.

Anthony Myles added 12 points and Jonathon Thompson 10 for Rider.

Yvon Raymond's 15 points led the Peacocks, who were 4 of 14 from long range. Desi Washington, who came in averaging 15.3 points, scored five on 2-of-14 shooting, including 1 of 10 3-pointers.
