Austin Witter scored 10 points, grabbed nine boards and had four steals in North Carolina A&T's 83-52 win over Division III Greensboro College on Friday night in the Aggies' season opener.

DaMetrius Upchurch led the Aggies with 14 points, Lamont Middleton had 13, Jean Louisme added 10 off the bench and Adrian Powell chipped in nine.

Powell also grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds for North Carolina A&T, which outrebounded Greensboro 43-29.

Greensboro held an early 5-0 advantage but wouldn't see the lead again, as Upchruch's layup sparked a 21-4 run to put the Aggies on top 21-9. Middletop capped the run with two free throws.

Luqman Tijani made a 3-pointer to close the gap to 28-24 but Powell and Witter combined to score nine straight points and stretch the Aggies' lead to 37-24. North Carolina A&T led 47-30 at halftime.

Tijani led Greensboro with 29 points on 10-of-14 shooting.
