The Philadelphia 76ers re-signed forward Lavoy Allen on Wednesday.

Allen, who played college basketball at nearby Temple, was drafted No. 50 last year by the Sixers and played 41 games with 15 starts as a rookie.

He averaged 4.1 points during the regular season, but was a bigger factor in the playoffs, scoring at least 10 points four times and averaging 6.3 in 12 games.

Allen was 6-for-6 for 12 points in a Game 5 loss to Boston in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Terms of his deal were not disclosed.
