Turkey became the seventh women's volleyball team to qualify for the London Olympics, beating Poland in the final of a European tournament Sunday.

Turkey won 25-22, 25-22, 25-19 to become the first volleyball team from that country — men or women — to reach an Olympics. Said Turkey coach Marco Aurelio Motta: "We have had our dreams come true."

The other women's teams to have qualified are: host Britain, U.S., Italy, China, Algeria and Dominican Republic. Five more spots are to be decided.
