'Canes activate Dalpe, assign him to minors

Raleigh, NC – The Carolina Hurricanes have activated forward Zac Dalpe off injured reserve and assigned him to Charlotte of the American Hockey League.

Dalpe had not played since October 14 against Buffalo because of a lower body injury and was placed on injured reserve October 25. He has not registered a point in five games with the Hurricanes this season.

The Hurricanes have recalled forward Drayson Bowman from Charlotte. Bowman has five goals and two assists in 10 games for Charlotte. He has appeared in 32 NHL games for the Hurricanes and has compiled two goals with one assist.
