German police: man and woman killed in shooting in Bavaria; suspect in custody

German police say they have captured a man who allegedly shot and killed two people in Bavaria and then fled by car.

Police spokeswoman Simone Wiesenberg told n-tv television that the shooter had been arrested but provided no other details.

Earlier, spokesman Bert Rauenbusch told N24 news that a man and a woman had been killed in the morning attack.

Rauenbusch says a man shot at people from his car and that at least one other person was wounded.

The killings took place in the southern town of Tiefenthal, near Ansbach. Further details weren't immediately available.
