Prosecutors have charged a former aide to Prince Philip with three indecent assaults against a young girl in the early 1970s.
Benjamin Herman was working as a personal assistant to Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II, at the time of the alleged incidents.
Prosecutors said Thursday the victim was 12 when the assaults began in 1972.

Palace officials have declined to comment. Herman, 79, is scheduled to appear in Wimbledon Magistrates Court Monday.
He worked for Philip from 1971 to 1974 and then took a senior position in the household of Princess Anne.
He is among a number of figures including several from the entertainment field who have recently been charged with sex crimes dating back 30 years or more.
