Chinese President Xi Jinping is addressing Pakistan's parliament.

State-run Pakistani TV showed the visiting president speaking Tuesday to lawmakers, military leaders and foreign ambassadors.

Xi Jinping is in Islamabad on a two-day visit, where he and Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday oversaw their ministers and other officials signing 51 deals.

Pakistani officials have said Xi has brought with him investment projects worth $45 billion in energy and infrastructure construction.

Of the total amount, up to $37 billion would be spent on Pakistan's troubled electrical grid.
