Fallen Chinese politician Bo Xilai admitted "some responsibility" Saturday for five million yuan ($800,000) he is accused of embezzling that ended up in his wife's accounts, according to transcripts provided by a court.

Bo, who denies embezzlement and other charges, told his trial in Jinan: "I feel I should take some responsibility for the money ending up in Gu Kailai's account. I feel ashamed. I was too careless, because these are state funds."
