An intense search for debris from the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 has shifted about 1,100 kilometers (680 miles) northeast of the previous search zone in the southern Indian Ocean. A list of the countries taking part and what they have sent to help the operation overseen by Australia from a military base near the southwestern city of Perth:
