Four people have been jailed for more than 10 years each for stabbing a retired Indian general in the neck while he was visiting London last year.
Two men and a woman were convicted in July for what prosecutors called "a highly premeditated assault" on Lt. Gen. Kuldeep Singh Brar as he walked with his wife in September 2012. A fourth defendant pleaded guilty.
Prosecutors said the attack on the 78-year-old was revenge for his role in the 1984 assault on Amritsar's Golden Temple, in which more than 1,000 people were killed. Brar survived the stabbing attack.
