3 private guards to face manslaughter charges for UK death of Angolan deportee
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Prosecutors say three British security guards will face manslaughter charges in the 2010 death of an Angolan who collapsed while being deported.
Jimmy Mubenga died of cardio-respiratory collapse while being restrained on a British Airways plane as the flight taxied at London's Heathrow Airport. The plane stopped and he was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Prosecutors had decided in 2012 that the guards would not face charges but the case was re-examined after an inquest found Mubenga was the victim of unlawful killing.

G4S, a major contractor for the British government with several high-profile missteps in recent years, is not charged in the case.
