Police search for suspect in 3 shootings in north-central West Virginia; schools on lockdown

Police are searching for a suspect following three shootings in north-central West Virginia and it isn't immediately clear if anyone was injured.

Monongalia County sheriff's Chief Deputy Perry Palmer says the shootings happened Monday morning.

911 director Mike Wolfe says schools in Monongalia County are on lockdown and that police are searching for Jody Hunt in relation to the case. Police also are searching for a 2011 Ford F-150 extended cab truck with a license plate that's blacked out and unreadable.

Details of the shootings weren't immediately available.
