A Pittsburgh couple has been jailed on child endangerment charges after police say they left the woman's 2-year-old boy outside in a hot, parked car while they drank in a bar.
Police say when someone called to report seeing the boy in the car about 12:45 a.m. Wednesday that it was still 80 degrees with 70 percent humidity outside. Officers reported finding the boy slumped over and unresponsive in the car. He's since been taken to a hospital and is expected to recover.
Online court records don't list attorneys for the boy's mother, 30-year-old Terri Hymes, of Homewood, or the boy's stepfather, 27-year-old Archie Howard.

Both were also charged with public drunkenness as police say Hymes left the bar and tried to drive away in the car as police were waiting for paramedics.
