A Chicago police spokesman says an officer was grazed by a bullet when a suspect fired toward a squad car.
Spokesman Anthony Guglielmi tweeted that the officer suffered a graze wound to the face Tuesday night.
He says officers were trying to stop a car in connection with a possible carjacking when the driver shot at their vehicle. Backup units saw the shooting and returned fire.
