Bodies of 2 men, 1 woman found in 2 houses in coastal Maine town; believed to be same family

Police have found three bodies inside two houses in the coastal Maine town of Boothbay Harbor, and authorities believe they are from the same family.
A spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety says two bodies were found Saturday inside a home on Lakeside Drive and later a third was found inside a home on Montgomery Road.
Steve McCausland says the victims are two men and a woman. He could not immediately provide more information about them or the circumstances of their deaths.

He says the discovery was made after someone called police requesting that they check on one of the properties.
State Police detectives have arrived in Boothbay Harbor to investigate the case.
