More charges have been filed against two California women accused of starving an 8-year-old girl and chaining her to the floor to prevent her from getting food.
Prosecutors charged 31-year-old Eraca Dawn Craig and 44-year-old Christian Jessica Deanda on Wednesday with felony false imprisonment.
Each was already facing a felony child endangerment count.

The women also face misdemeanor child endangerment counts involving the treatment of two boys, ages 5 and 3.
The Monterey Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1iEg3fR) that authorities found the children at the women's home in Salinas on March 14 during a welfare check.
Sheriff Scott Miller said the boys appeared malnourished, though not as much as the girl.

Deanda's attorney, Jeremy Dzubay, said there was a much wider story to tell.
