1 dead, 2 critical after underground storage fall in Phoenix
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}One man is dead and two others remain hospitalized in critical condition after they fell into a 20-foot underground grain storage facility in north Phoenix.
Phoenix Fire Department officials say all three men lost consciousness Monday after being in the oxygen deficient atmosphere.
They say one man was pumping rain water out of the underground unit when he fell into it.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Another man tried to rescue him and he also fell into it as did the third man.
All three were extricated and rushed to a hospital.
Authorities say one of the men is 61 years old and another is 33. No age yet for the third man.
