Police say 28 people were hurt — none seriously — when two school buses and a car collided Tuesday morning in a Harrisonburg intersection.
Police have charged one bus driver, Harold Long, 70, of Harrisonburg, with disregarding a traffic signal in the 7 a.m. wreck.
Harrisonburg Police Sergeant R.L. Metcalf says the crash happened when a school bus and a car ran into another school bus. One bus was carrying middle school students and the other was transporting high schoolers.
