Two Climbers Dead After Avalanche in Scotland

Police say two climbers swept away by an avalanche in Scotland have died.

Police say the bodies of the two men were recovered by a rescue team from Glencoe, about 120 miles northwest of Edinburgh. The narrow and steep-sided valley, one of the Highlands' most famous glens, is popular with hillwalkers and climbers.

Earlier Wednesday a man was injured when he fell several hundred feet from an ice climb in a separate avalanche on Ben Nevis, near Fort William.
