Thousands Evacuated as Floods Kill 2 in Argentina

Argentine emergency officials say flooding has killed two people and driven thousands more from their homes in Buenos Aires province.
Firefighters say a 10-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man drowned in rising waters in the city of Pergamino.
The town of San Antonio de Areco has been hit particularly hard. About 3,000 people there were evacuated.

Mayor Estela Lennon told Radio 10 on Monday that floodwaters were flowing through the main square "like a rushing river."
Salto fire chief Juan Carlos Godoy said on TV news channel Todo Noticias that another 400 evacuated in his town.
