'Sopranos' Gandolfini Unhurt After Car Crash

It wasn't the kind of "hit" Tony Soprano (search) is used to, but luckily it turned out OK.

Actor James Gandolfini (search), who plays Tony in the Emmy-award winning HBO series "The Sopranos" (search), was hit by a drunken driver in New Jersey over the weekend.

Police said the actor wasn't hurt.

Gandolfini was in New Brunswick on Saturday for the Rutgers-Michigan State football game.

The sport utility vehicle driven by Gandolfini, a Rutgers alumnus, was hit by a driver who police said ran a red light.

The driver of the other car was issued a summons for drunken driving and released.
