Officials Ask for Public's Help in Identifying Florida Drowning Victim
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Officials are seeking the public's help in identifying a man found floating in a South Florida canal.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said a person walking his dog on Monday saw a body floating face down in a canal in Lake Worth's John Prince Park and called 911.
The body appeared to have been in the water for less than a day. Authorities say the drowning appears accidental.
The man's fingerprints and missing persons reports have been searched, but his identity has not been found.
