A prominent New York lawyer accused in a $400 million fraud case has been freed under house arrest.
Marc Dreier left a Manhattan jail on Friday and went to a courthouse for processing. Then he signed a bond and was released.
Prosecutors had objected, citing his numerous trips overseas and their suspicions that he might have hidden money.
