Masked Rapist was Relative of Victim
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A woman who was raped by a masked intruder at her home on the Squaxin Island Indian Reservation near Shelton identified her attacker as a distant relative.
Mason County deputies and a Kitsap County police dog tracked a suspect and made an arrest about an hour after the Monday morning attack. The 17-year-old is jailed for investigation or burglary, kidnapping and rape.
The 30-year-old woman says she was threatened with a knife and feared for her life and for her three young children in the home. She was treated at Mason General Hospital.
