The wife of a prominent Iranian journalist says an appeals court has upheld his conviction on a charge of spreading propaganda against the ruling Islamic establishment.
The court also confirmed Ahmad Zeidabadi's sentence of six years in prison, five years of internal exile in a remote desert town and a lifelong ban on political activity.
The journalist and former student leader was among more than 100 political figures and activists tried together in the aftermath of Iran's disputed June election.
