Boeing Co. (BA) said Monday it has received a US$700 million (euro549 million) order for 10 737-800 Dreamliner jets from India's Air Sahara.
The planes will start being delivered in mid-2009, said Dinesh Keskar, the company's senior vice president of sales for South Asia and Southeast Asia.
"We are proud of the long-term relationship we have had with Air Sahara," Keskar said.

Boeing also revised its forecast for the Indian market, saying the company expects the country will need 856 commercial jets worth more than US$72 billion (euro56.4 billion) over the next 20 years. The bullish forecast is based on India's fast growing economy and rising demand for air travel, Keskar told reporters.
