Authorities in Logan County say they've arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with the killings of five members of a central Illinois family.
At a news conference Thursday evening, Logan County Sheriff Steven Nichols said Christopher J. Harris has been arrested and is being charged with murder.
Authorities offered few other details.

The bodies of Rick and Ruth Gee, along with three of their children, were found last month in the family's home in Beason. The Gee's 3-year-old daughter survived the attack.
The killings have rattled the tiny farming community of only a few hundred people, as police warned people to lock their doors.
Nichols has said a "violent struggle" preceded the deaths, which authorities have attributed to "blunt force trauma."
