A 16-year-old male was nabbed for breaking into the Camden City Jail.
The break-in was captured on a surveillance video, said Police Chief Lucas Knight. He said the not-so-smart juvenile knocked out a window and stole 500 dollars in petty cash.
The boy was apprehended and was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

Knight thinks the young suspect, who confessed to the crime, just needed cash.
The boy is being held in a juvenile detention facility in Greensboro.
