Alabama Teen Breaks Into Jail
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A 16-year-old male was nabbed for breaking into the Camden City Jail.
The break-in was captured on a surveillance video, said Police Chief Lucas Knight. He said the not-so-smart juvenile knocked out a window and stole 500 dollars in petty cash.
The boy was apprehended and was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Knight thinks the young suspect, who confessed to the crime, just needed cash.
The boy is being held in a juvenile detention facility in Greensboro.
