Steve Wojciechowski is going to have to lean on his guards in his first year as Marquette's head coach.
The Golden Eagles have only one player taller than 6-foot-7, and 6-11 center Luke Fischer isn't eligible to play until mid-December because he's a transfer. Still, Wojciechowski (woe-juh-HOW-skee) is excited as he begins his first training camp at Marquette.
Wojciechowski replaced Buzz Williams, who left in the spring to take the head coaching job at Virginia Tech.

Senior point guard Derrick Wilson is back. Marquette picked up experience in BYU transfer Matt Carlino, who can play immediately. Deonte Burton, the 6-4 swingman, might provide the most athletic scoring punch among returnees.
Marquette also picked up good news for 2015 when highly touted in-state prospect Henry Ellenson gave a verbal commitment to the school.
