Winnipeg Jets' Wheeler is not a fan of ads on jerseys

When news broke that Adidas would become the new jersey apparel producer, TSN's Rick Westhead pointed something out that every hockey fan fears: This opens up the opportunity for the NHL to put ads on the jerseys.

That really, really doesn't sit well with Winnipeg Jets forward Blake Wheeler.

The current deal with Reebok expires after the 2017-18 season. Adidas reportedly beat out Under Armour and Bauer Hockey for the right to create the NHL jerseys.
