Michael Rector, a redshirt junior wide receiver, is Stanford's fastest player. According to him, he ran a 4.38 40 time last spring. That speed could really help the Cardinal this season.

Rector believes that his speed, and bulked up size, will help him develop into a great all-around receiver in 2015.

"This is the heaviest I have been, so I feel great," Rector said, according to John Reid of the San Jose Mercury News. "We're going to incorporate all kinds of routes this year. We have Isaiah Brandt-Sims, another speedy guy. We're going to have him try some of the deep ball stuff because we need that. If I can run a couple of deep routes, a couple of intermediate and short routes well, I will be harder to guard."
