With Tony Stewart sidelined indefinitely with a back injury suffered last weekend, there are several possible candidates to step into the No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevy as a temporary replacement.

At least one of those possible candidates, 22-year-old Alex Bowman, made his interest known on Twitter.

Brett Moffitt, another young driver with some Cup experience, also wasn't bashful about what he sees as the possibilities.

Meanwhile, veterans Mark Martin and Jeff Burton -- who filled in for Stewart during his time away in 2013 and 2014, respectively -- have taken themselves out of the running as possible subs.
