Wayne Rooney acts badly in X-Men movie advertisement

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has been called many things over the course of his long career, but "mutant" probably isn't one of them.
Until now, that is.
United have a commercial relationship with movie makers 20th Century Fox, and it certainly seems like both parties are determined to milk it for all it's worth.

First, United painted two of their mascots blue for their final game of the Premier League season to promote the movie - yes, you read that right, they painted actual children for commercial purposes.
Now, though, the United players themselves have taken center stage in the perfectly normal and fine battle for a football club to advertise movie franchises.
United stars David De Gea and Anthony Martial are featured, but only in stock footage form. Rooney, however, gets a full speaking role and does some acting, although that word is used in its loosest possible sense, of course.

Long story short: It has to be seen to be believed and it is every bit as bad as you'd expect it to be.
