The Italian international notched another hat trick on Saturday night with two splendid finishes that should remind everyone why Giovinco was the MVP of MLS last year. His hat trick, plus a late goal from Jozy Altidore, were enough to lift Toronto FC over the New England Revolution, 4-1.

Giovinco added to his tally with a penalty kick in the 76th minute for his second hat trick of the year. You may remember his first hat trick of the year since it just happened two weeks ago. In that one, he wiped out an eight-game scoring drought in dramatic fashion.

Toronto FC, sitting comfortably in playoff position, return to action next week against the Houston Dynamo next Saturday.
