Watch this dazzling hat trick from Sebastian Giovinco

Remember when Sebastian Giovinco was slumping? Ah, what a distant memory that is now.

The Italian international notched another hat trick on Saturday night with two splendid finishes that should remind everyone why Giovinco was the MVP of MLS last year. His hat trick, plus a late goal from Jozy Altidore, were enough to lift Toronto FC over the New England Revolution, 4-1.

But let's get straight to the goals:

Giovinco has a knack for making anywhere on the field feel like prime scoring position. And then eight minutes later, he did this:

Goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth didn't really have much of a chance. The broadcaster yelled, "Have you ever?" He didn't actually finish the question, but for everyone listening, the answer is probably no, we haven't.

Giovinco added to his tally with a penalty kick in the 76th minute for his second hat trick of the year. You may remember his first hat trick of the year since it just happened two weeks ago. In that one, he wiped out an eight-game scoring drought in dramatic fashion.

Now, with his latest hat trick on Saturday, Giovinco has 15 goals on the season and shot up to the top of the MLS goal-scoring leaderboard. Perhaps better, Giovinco's run of form has helped Toronto FC enjoy a four-game winning streak. Giovinco has a goal or an assist in the team's last four matches.

Toronto FC, sitting comfortably in playoff position, return to action next week against the Houston Dynamo next Saturday.
