The Cincinnati Bengals marched 80 yards for a touchdown on the opening possession against Kansas City on Sunday, but the drive was kept alive by a heads up play from Andy Dalton.

Facing 3rd-and-2 at his own 44, Dalton scooped up a ground ball snap from center Russell Bodine. Dalton didn't panic and had the presence to fire a floater to Green as soon as he picked his head up with the ball in hand.

As you'll see in the video, Green was actually well-covered on the play, but he quickly gained separation on Chiefs safety Ron Parker once the ball was thrown out there for him. Dalton trusted the read and put the ball only where his star receiver could get it in a pinch.
