Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry says he's unsure if his sprained left ankle will be healthy enough for him to play in Game 3 against the Denver Nuggets on Friday night.

Curry says his ankle became swollen after Tuesday night's 131-117 win at Denver evened the best-of-seven series at a game apiece. He sat out practice Thursday, saying he "wouldn't be able to play right now if there was a game."

Curry says he'll continue treatment and remains hopeful for the first home playoff game of his four-year career. He says he'll consider a pain-numbing injection — something he has never done during the regular season — on his twice surgically repaired right ankle.
