Gold medalist David Boudia (boo-DY'-uh) may add the vault to the 10-meter platform in 2016.

Boudia tells WLFI-TV he is considering trying to compete in both gymnastics and diving at the next Olympics in Rio De Janiero.

The Noblesville, Ind., native says there's "a very outside shot" he will try to tackle dual sports in Rio, but the idea isn't as far-fetched as it might seem. Boudia competed in gymnastics as a child.

Boudia won a bronze medal in London in the synchronized platform event with Nicholas McCrory. He upset world champion Qiu Bo of China by less than two points to win gold on the 10-meter platform.

He says he plans to compete with McCrory again but is leaning against a return to the 10-meter platform event.
