At Blackpool, United trailed 2-0 in the 72nd minuted before Dimitar Berbatov had two goals and Javier Hernandez scored once. The Red Devils avoided what would have been their first loss to Blackpool since 1966.

United (14-0-9), which has a five-point lead in the Premier League over second-place Arsenal (14-5-4), extended its league unbeaten streak to 28 games since an April 3 loss to Chelsea.

Blackpool built a 2-0 lead on goals by Craig Cathcart in the 15th minute and DJ Campbell in the 43rd.

Berbatov scored in the 72nd minute, Hernandez tied it two minutes later and Berbatov got the go-ahead goal in the 88th.

In London, Arsenal scored three times in the second half for a 3-0 victory over the League Championship team and a 3-1 aggregate win in the home-and-home series. Seeking their first trophy since winning the 2005 FA Cup, the Gunners will play West Ham or Birmingham in the League Cup final at Wembley on Feb. 27.

Nicklas Bendtner scored in the 61st minute, Laurent Koscielny doubled the lead three minutes later and Cesc Fabregas added a goal in the 77th.
