No. 1 Connecticut plays its second game in a week against a top-five opponent when the Huskies host No. 5 Notre Dame on Saturday.
The Irish (11-1) have won four of the last five meetings between the two teams, and have knocked the Huskies (12-0) out of the Final Four in each of the past two seasons.
But UConn is coming off two big wins on the West Coast including a 61-35 win over then No. 1 Stanford last Saturday, a win that propelled the Huskies to the top of the polls.
