Tony Stewart lends plane to injured IndyCar driver Justin Wilson's family

When IndyCar driver Justin Wilson was injured in Sunday's ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway, his family was not at the track and needed to find a quick way from their home in Colorado to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
In desperate need of quick transportation, Wilson's family was able to make their way to Justin's side thanks in large part to three-time NASCAR champion Tony Stewart.
The NASCAR owner/driver provided the family his personal plane in order to get them quickly to Justin's side in Pennsylvania.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Wilson was apparently struck by the nose section of Sage Karam's car after hit he the wall while leading with 21 laps to go. Safety workers removed Wilson from the car and he was airlifted to the hospital with "a severe head injury." He died Monday from his injuries.
Many inside the IndyCar world were quick to thank Stewart for the gesture on social media.
