Timberwolves' Brewer fined for flopping

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Minnesota Timberwolves forward Corey Brewer was fined $5,000 on Monday by the NBA for violating the league's ant-flopping rule for a second time this season.

Brewer was attempting to box out Miami star LeBron James on a shot from the corner in Saturday's loss to the Heat. As James came down with the rebound, Brewer stumbled in the lane, though there appeared to be little contact between the players.

Brewer is averaging 14.0 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
